Human Values

Often, business considers people as the combination of experience and source of revenue generation but humans are not assets and experience only. The Human Resource Management department took its shape in the 1920s and went unchecked for more than a century to realize that humans are not resources only.

In 2023, I took a historic and futuristic decision of firmness and values. On 21 December 2023, I decided to replace the term Human Resources with Human Values in my business and all the projects such as books, newsletters, blogs, and articles. I have stopped referring to the term Human Resources from 1st January 2024 (Press Release, Dated: 2nd January, 2024).

This step was taken after deep deliberation, to honor the ethos of the organization and its members. I believe that the qualitative aspects of a person's value addition to an organization must always be honored irrespective of the posts, holdings, and years of service. When we honour the contribution of the employees then we can build an organization that serves the society for decades or even centuries.

This decision also reflects my willingness to extend gracious gratitude to all the people who have been associated with me on the journey so far. I am highly appreciative of all the employees who have worked with me in the past and the ones who are currently contributing. This resolution shows my firmness and admiration towards all of them and a warm welcome to those who will join in the near future.

In the 21st Century, this is the time for us to realize that humans are more than assets or experience, they hold values and emotions as well. My ambition is not to build a few businesses that trade some services but to build a model that serves society. The 21st Century has seen many disruptions and now is the time to behold the foundational values.
